Tsukuba Flea Market

We will be hosting a flea market at the outdoor plaza of “Tonarie Tsukuba Square” in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, featuring shops that offer a range of items from antique goods to plants and craft creations. The venue is conveniently located, directly connected to TX Tsukuba Station, ensuring easy accessibility. For those arriving by car, there are approximately 4,000 nearby parking spaces available. Please be aware that the event may be canceled depending on the circumstances.

Vendor applications accepted until December 2024

Vendor Fees

  • Merchandise/Food Sales: ¥4,400 (Width: 2.5m to Depth: 2.5m)
  • Merchandise/Food Sales: ¥5,500 (Width: 3m to Depth: 3m)
  • Food Vendor (Food Truck): ¥5,500 *Vehicle total weight up to 2 tons
    Participation with food trucks exceeding a total weight of 2 tons is not possible. Please make sure to confirm your vehicle inspection certificate before applying.

Permissible Items for Sale

  • Vintage clothing, tableware, accessories, interior décor, furniture, etc., from different eras.
  • Upcycled items, refurbished products, and remade goods.
  • Fresh flowers, potted plants, various plants. Processed items with added craftsmanship. Floral materials.
  • Handcrafted products and decorations made from materials.
  • Clothing, Western-style sundries. Items not mass-produced.
  • Craft items such as pottery, glass, leather, woodworking, etc.
  • artworks like paintings.
  • Vegetables. Homemade items like jams and baked goods. (Submission of permits is required.)
  • Drinks, prepared food. (Food and beverage application is mandatory.)

While household items are not eligible for sale, items such as antique goods, furniture, pottery, vases, records, old books, clocks, precious metals, kimonos, hanging scrolls, folk crafts, and more are welcomed. Feel free to consult with us first. We will provide full support in bridging the gap to the next owner!

You are welcome to apply for a booth in a wide range of genres including antiques, vintage items, crafts, food, and vegetables. However, priority will be given to maintaining the flea market atmosphere. It is a requirement for application that you assist in promoting the event on your own social media platforms. We look forward to receiving your applications.
